This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website at gqs-inc.com (the “Site”), contact us, and inquire about or engage our consulting, training, and related services (the “Services”). By using the Site, you consent to the practices described in this Policy. This Policy should be read together with our Terms and Conditions of Use.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

Information you provide to us.

When you complete a contact or inquiry form, request a quotation or consultation, subscribe to updates, or otherwise communicate with us, we may collect your name, email address, telephone number, and mailing address; your employer or organization name and job title; the nature of your inquiry and the Services you are interested in; and the content of communications, requests, and materials you send us. Where you engage GQS for consulting or training, we may collect additional business and project information necessary to perform the Services. Payment card details are not collected or processed on this Site; online purchases are handled through our separate online store and its third-party payment processor.

Information we collect automatically.

When you use the Site, we and our providers may automatically collect your device and browser type, operating system, and language; IP address and approximate location; the pages you view, links you click, and dates and times of access; referring URLs; and information collected through cookies and similar technologies (see Section 2).

2. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Site, remember your preferences, protect the Site against automated abuse, and analyze usage. These include strictly necessary cookies (required for the Site to function, including security and bot-protection services such as Cloudflare and Cloudflare Turnstile) and analytics cookies. You can control non-essential cookies through your browser settings or any cookie banner presented on the Site; disabling certain cookies may limit Site functionality.

5. Consulting and Training Engagements

Where you engage GQS to provide consulting or training services, any personal information, client data, or confidential information you provide to us in connection with that engagement is handled in accordance with the applicable services agreement, statement of work, quotation, or non-disclosure agreement between the parties. In the event of a conflict between such an agreement and this Policy with respect to information provided under that engagement, the terms of that agreement govern.

6. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as needed to respond to your inquiries, provide the Services, and for legitimate business and legal purposes, after which we delete or de-identify the information. Where information is held in connection with a consulting or training engagement, retention is governed by the applicable services agreement and our legal and regulatory obligations.

7. Data Security

We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and Site-security and bot-protection services. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your Privacy Rights and Choices

Subject to applicable law, you may request to access, correct, update, or delete your personal information, or object to or restrict certain processing. You may opt out of marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link or by contacting us.
