AS9100 Certification Process

Step 4: Train Your Organization: Educate all employees about AS9100 and their roles in the QMS. Training ensures everyone understands the new processes and procedures.

Step 5: Document Your QMS: Create and document your quality manual, procedures, and work instructions to align with AS9100 standards.

Step 6: Implement the QMS: Put the documented processes into practice. This step involves running the QMS for a period (usually around three months) to .collect records and ensure it is functioning correctly.

Step 7: Conduct Internal Audits: Regularly audit your QMS to identify any non-conformities and areas for improvement. This prepares you for the external audit.

Step 8: Registration Audit: Select a certification body to conduct the registration audit. If your QMS meets the AS9100 requirements, you will receive certification.
